Hotel with restaurant in Sansepolcro near Cortona
The Podere Violino hotel is the ideal setting for your holidays in Tuscany: deep within the green Tiber Valley, in a stretch of land on the borders between Marche, Emilia Romagna and Umbria, is the welcoming atmosphere of a family-run business, delicious traditional cuisine and an excellent choice of interesting activities to be done on the farm.
The hotel is housed in an old farmhouse dating back to the year 1100 which has been recently restored with loving care by Roberta and her son Edoardo, who have paid special attention to providing disabled access wherever possible. The 15 rooms of the hotel are tastefully decorated, and are warm in the winter and cool in the summer.
Within the farm you will find the Centre for Bionatural Well-being, with massage provided by qualified therapists.
If you love horse riding, we offer the opportunity of accessing the riding school for adults and children up to 12 years old, in collaboration with the equestrian centre next door to us, which has over 80 splendid horses and ponies.
For fishing enthusiasts we recommend a day of Fly Fishing on the Tail Water Tevere, a section of the Tevere river dedicated to this type of fishing.
Our restaurant serves typical Tuscan cuisine: Our chefs Fabio and Manuel cook delicious, well-balanced dishes that combine tradition and innovation.
Podere Violino also has a swimming pool and ample outdoor spaces with a well-equipped area for children. Remember that you can bring your four-legged friends!
Within the Podere Violino estate we also have a sheltered space dedicated to rural camping with all the necessary connections.
These features make Podere Violino a perfect hotel for all lovers of nature and good food, excellent for families wanting to enjoy a relaxing time, or a romantic weekend for couples. Our staff will endeavour to fulfil all your requests, suggesting places to visit, itineraries and events or, if you like, we can organise your event here. We look forward to seeing you soon!
